Engr. Sola Ajimati has officially declared his intention to contest for the Kwara South Senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections, pledging a new era of inclusive leadership, youth empowerment, and accelerated development across the district.
Ajimati, a seasoned entrepreneur and community leader, is the President of Youth Arise For Leadership Initiative (YARLI) and the Group Managing Director of CROWNSTAR PROJECTS LTD, an indigenous engineering, ICT, and infrastructure company with landmark achievements in project execution, power systems, and development solutions across Nigeria.
According to him, his decision is driven by a deep commitment to transform governance, unlock local potential, and give the youth a stronger voice in leadership and policy direction.
“This is a call to service. Kwara South deserves renewed hope, stronger representation, and leadership that understands both enterprise and the real needs of the people,” he stated.
Ajimati outlined his core agenda, which includes youth employment, rural infrastructure development, education reform, and economic empowerment, alongside a unique development blueprint focused on transforming Kwara South into a “Production and Skills Export Zone” — where local talent is trained, certified, and linked directly to national and international job markets and industries.
He further emphasized a “Community-Driven Micro-Industrial Cluster Model” that will promote agro-processing, mineral value addition, and SME industrial hubs across local governments to reduce unemployment and rural poverty at scale.
He added that his experience in leadership, business development, and project execution positions him to effectively represent the people and attract meaningful development to the senatorial district.
